Des Moines Public Art Scavenger Hunt

You are invited to virtually play the Des Moines Public Art Scavenger Hunt game. Part of the Virtual Art Week, use your knowledge or any maps site (such as Google’s or Bing’s) to locate where the following public art pieces are located in the Des Moines area. Top 3 contestants will win works by local Des Moines artists (scroll to the bottom of the page for the artwork images). The contest is free to enter.
Below you can see the public artworks that you must to find virtually; click on each to see a larger version. Once you’ve found them, press the “Click to Enter Your Responses” button to fill out the contest form. Once done, please click “Submit”. You will be notified within a week of the end the Virtual Art Week if you have won one of the prizes.

Three local artists have donated prizes for this contest.
Participants must provide valid and accurate contact information. If a winner cannot be contacted or is disqualified for any reason, Greater Des Moines Public Art Foundation (“PAF”) reserves the right to determine an alternate winner or not to award that winner’s prize, in its sole discretion. A parent or guardian of any participant who is a minor must sign a release on behalf of the minor to be eligible to receive a prize. PAF board members, independent contractors, participating sponsors and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win.
By participating, all participants and winner(s) grant PAF exclusive permission to use their names, and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use.
By participating in the Des Moines Public Art Scavenger Hunt, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against PAF, or its independent contractors, board members and agents.
Awarding of prizes is not an endorsement or implication of value, but is offered solely as a reward for the winning participant.
